Greetings everyone. It's nice to have you here. My name is Julian Blair Lambert, but you may have encountered me as GnominClature. I've got a few other pseudonyms like ~NotDescartes, E.E. Cummings, Naz, and Pharos. I've been haunting around on the internet ever since 1985. I used a program called Phanes when my uncle worked at IBM, and he taught me how to use the Basic programing language. That's where it all started for me. After IBM DOS, Commodore DOS, and multiple Apple ][s, Windows 3.0 made its way into my schema. The internet then transformed into BBS which eventually led to the system as you know it in 1994. I did not use my GnominClature alias until I was 16. By this point, I was quite proficient at taking apart computers, networking them, and making programs.

The philosophy of GnominClature isn't complicated, but it is a belief structure I've had for years. I prefer being small and humble because in myth, gnomes are inherently small. We like trees. We enjoy Nature. However, do us wrong and we become enraged with height, rage, and incite damage upon all who are unfair or weld injustice with hypocritical notions. General harm to others is expected, but to place one under undo duress is quite another. More than the myth, though, believing in scientific ideals is what I do. A nomenclature is the biological naming scheme, so naming how I believe life truly represents itself is exactly what GnominClature is. Writing in a poetry book that's called the "The Gnome Gnotebook" is another reason, but don't forget that Linux can be run by Gnome! Put those items together, and you've got a basic idea of what being Gnomish is!

What does Gnome do? What does he aspire to be? Where does he come from? I've been all over the world; I've been involved in as much as anyone could be at this point; and I want to be more than the sum of my experiences. I work making dot coms for those who want them, and I work as a nurse in home health care. I am artistic, a writer, a drum player, and a mechanic. My hands are technical ones: they understand that a certain set of conditions must exist for something to output or react in a predictable way.

Sadly, I have limited creativity and that is something I work hard to correct everyday. I am also striving hard in going forward to become more emotionally and spiritually aware of myself than what was expected of me. I was expected and told regularly that I would amount to nothing. I do not subscribe to doom sayers.

Entertain a rant? I live my definitions and that makes life very hard. I don't give in much. People are jewels, but people are strange. All your money is green. I understand capitalism quite well. Check back often for my portfolio.
